The LoRusso Team consists of 8 professionals all dedicated to making sure our customers receive the most thorough and enjoyable real estate experience in NYC. Our team members are Joseph Chaplin, Piotr Wisniewski, Berna Hakimi, Riain Clifford, Elliott Levenglick, Natalia Collins, Amy Kaplan and Jeremiah David LoRusso.
Immersed in real estate from when he was just a child, Jeremiah had the opportunity to learn from his father, who designed and built custom homes in Long Island. He spent his teen years and early twenties in California, earning his B.S. in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He also studied Linguistics, Italian, and became fluent in Spanish. Before coming to Douglas Elliman, he was a Managing Director of a Financial District real estate firm, New York Living Solutions. He hired and trained many successful agents - growing the offices that he managed two and threefold.
For eight years, Jeremiah and his teams have represented renters, buyers, and sellers in the Manhattan real estate market. According to one of his peers, one important quality that differentiates him from other brokers is that he places his clients best interests absolutely first, and is tenacious in his representation. The New York real estate market is known for being a shark-like business, and he manages to stay above the chaos, focus on results for the client, and still exude positivity to all those around him. He feels strongly that a home is important: "Ultimately, it is the sanctuary we go to at the end of the day. It's where all the successes outside the house are born and validated. Having the right home can enrich your life immensely."
Jeremiah is the leader of the LoRusso Team at Douglas Elliman's 575 Madison Avenue office, a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, and a long time resident of the growing Financial District. His passions include traveling, playing acoustic guitar, staying athletic, and working with the Father's Heart Ministries helping NYC's underpriveledged.
